Founded in 2017, Hunter Hollow Bunny Bed & Breakfast is both a rescue for Domestic Rabbits and a Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. The mission of our Rabbit Rescue is simple: "Hunter Hollow exists to provide shelter, care, behavioral enrichment and high quality nutrition to abandoned/found or surrendered pet rabbits". Each bunny is provided with care, treatment, spay/neuter and whatever is needed to help them become loving pets. The bunnies are provided with care until they are adopted.
When we started, Hunter Hollow anticipated 50 adoptions a year. In 2023, 151 bunnies were adopted and over 300 bunnies availed themselves of our care.  We are not meeting the community needs as we turned away over 150 bunnies in 2023 for lack of space.  We have very limited resources and must prioritize them so we can address health and safety situations as they arise.

The Wildlife Rehabilitation part of our work includes care for cottontail bunnies, opossums, and other small mammals. The goals for Wildlife are to provide care and shelter until/if the animal is able to be released.
Hunter Hollow also partners with PetSmart and Petfinder who helps us showcase our rabbits for adoption.
